13th July 2008:

The Lions played the Cardiff Red Hawks today in a friendly Ice Hockey match. The Lions had a very short bench with only 1 spare player to change with, was reduced further half way through the 3rd period when Dan Morris breaks his leg and will see him out of action for at least 6 weeks. The Lions would like to wish him the best on his recovery
